About

Jill Bowman has been a physical therapist since 1997 and has been specializing in myofascial release, as taught by John Barnes, PT, since 2002.

Myofascial release is a very effective, hands-on technique which releases restricted connective tissue, resulting in pain relief, increased range of motion and flexibility, fluidity, and positive postural changes.

Jill provides one-on-one, compassionate, hands-on treatment. She continues to take 1 to 2 MFR seminars per year to further her knowledge and technique. By receiving MFR treatments herself, she continuously expands on her ability to help others.

    Appreciation and Recommendation
    regarding
    Jill Bowman

    January 20, 2015

My name is Ed Epstein, age 67, and I have been coming to Jill Bowman, MFR Expert at HUMAN TOUCH since late August 2015.

After seeing numerous doctors, surgeons, and being hospitalized 5 times with little or no relief, Jill's MFR expertise and caring was the turn around that I needed in my abdominal, pelvic and back pain, pressure and tightness, which have been possibly resulting from past operations and adhesions, (scar tissue).

Her gentle touch with graceful control of my body movements along with her knowledge of physiology and myofascial release helped me to understand a whole new educational learning about the body and the mind.

My encouragement to anybody in taking MFR is to be open minded in the process and to let go of any thoughts, feelings and emotions of past traumas, upsets or any unresolved issues that you may have experienced.

As Jill has explained to me from the very first MFR session, let the process of the releasing be natural, relaxing, and calming, just be their in the moment and feel as the releasing takes place.

As I was feeling better, Jill invited me to attend a John Barnes MFR seminar which was held here in a suburb of Chicago last year and the experience and knowledge was beyond amazement in applying these techniques on my own.

Thank you Jill, your an amazing skilled professional that I am very fortunate to have found you.

    Sincerely yours,

    Ed Epstein
